3 Ways to Upgrade your Bagel

I love a good, traditional bagel. Plain, toasted bagel with cream cheese. Simple and amazing! But lately, I have been trying some new flavors and trying to mix it up. Here are some of my favorites that I have come up with. Take a look and let me know which one you are going to try OR if you have a bagel recipe I should try.

Tomato Basil Bagel

What you will need:

  • Plain bagel, toasted

  • Cream cheese

  • Pesto

  • Basil

  • Tomatoes

  • Balsamic glaze

  • Italian herbs

  • Layer cream cheese, pesto, basil and tomatoes on toasted bagel. Top with glaze and herbs.

BBQ Brisket Bagel

What you will need:

  • Plain bagel, toasted

  • Pepper jack cheese, sliced

  • Brisket

  • Favorite BBQ sauce

  • Jalapeno, sliced

  • Toast bagel with cheese and brisket. Top with BBQ sauce and jalapenos.

Brie and Raspberry Bagel

What you will need:

  • Plain bagel, toasted

  • Brie, spreadable

  • Raspberries, crushed (or jam)

  • Honey

  • Cinnamon

  • Layer brie and raspberries on toasted bagels. Top with honey and cinnamon.
